The socialism joke seems completely tonally off compared to the rest of the game - it feels jarring and wrong and,, it doesn't really make any sense? I don't know if I'm alone in thinking this but it's a really annoying gripe in an otherwise good game
(also I'm not the world's best political theorist but im 90% sure that, were the kittens' society to really exist, it could accurately be described as socialist - I don't see any kittens having access to capital, and the leadership role is purely to manage labour - this feels like an oversight on bloodrizer's part)
Does anyone else agree? What's up with this?
EDIT: ok technically it could make sense in a Capitalist Realism by Mark Fisher way but frankly that's way too obscure of a joke and wouldn't be that good anyway
EDIT 2: absolutely wild how people are just like "the developer is russian" like,, I don't think she's an idiot, I absolutely believe she'd be aware of the difference between the USSR and socialism, it's normally americans who get that one wrong
