chronospheres and orbital arrays (and relics)
Post Body

i have a bone to pick with these two, mainly their energy consumption.

let's start with orbital arrays: 2% boost to every space production is nice but at 20 energy a piece it's a bit unreasonable, considering space elevators now have half that effect at no energy cost at all and they don't even boost the antimatter output (chronospheres would give a partial AM amount, so why can't they?). there's 2 easy ways to rectify this:

  1. lower the energy consumption to something more reasonable or
  2. have orbital arrays give a boost to EVERY space structure, not just the production, so yes, cryostations, moon bases, science max on research vessels, everything that isn't ground control (except perhaps satellites). not only would that justify the energy cost it would really help long time players who invest alot in space structures and helps lessen the endgame "everything caps so quickly" issue for when resources get in the millions. granted, im only suggesting that because im a moron who can't read and thought that's would they would actually do when i bought my first one, but i still think it's a good idea

as for chronospheres: now i understand they give a massive advantage once bought and im not complaining that they cost 20 energy to operate, so much as the fact that they can't be turned off. i get why, if you could turn them off, why not buy them in bulk and only turn them on once you reset, right? well, how about giving us a reason to WANT to keep them on at all times, like, make them produce something incredibly rare at an incredibly slow rate. i was thinking, how about they could make time crystals at a rate of 1 every 25 years (which would be .00001/tick if im not mistaken)? im just spitballing with the numbers here but im begging you bloodrizer, make them toggle-able, so weirdos like me, who sometimes turn off everything that consumes energy, to max out chapels aren't hindered in our idiocy. having them do something useful besided storing stuff would give incentive to keep them running.

oh and lastly, i have an idea for how to make relics without leviathans: sacrifice 25 time crystals, like you would alicorns for crystals. it would be less efficient than trading for them but bypasses the need for metaphysics upgrades and heck, you can even include that in tachyon theory so it'll finally serve a purpose. sounds good, no?

anyway, these are some ideas i've been having. let's see what the community thinks,
cheers
