Tell me your thoughts about the kinnporche ending

Just finished watching the last episode of KinnPorche and as much as I applaud them for the visual and practical effects they used, I can't help but feel that the story of the last episode itself was a bit lacking. It laid out soo many new concepts about the story, while at the same time not really feeling like a conclusion. (ey maybe its like the end of season 1 leading up to the next?)
Curious as to everyone's thoughts on this.
