Trying to seperate the stigma from the art.
Post Body

Hello everyone, over the years my experience with porn has shifted greatly.

I am no longer interested in pornography for the straight-up sexual satisfaction, instead I have become interested in the artistic intention/meaning and psychological effect pornography can create.

There's a term called "media literary", it is basically the ability for one to see the multiple legitimate intrepretations a story may offer. The author's intent, and the way the community interprets the media.

For example, The Matrix is often intrepreted for the very simple "escape the matrix" idea, despite that not being 100% accurate. That's very surface level thought. The confusion was so large that later movies would hammer down the concept the idea that leaving the Matrix is simply possible so that no major rebellion is possible. Essentially humanity has a faux savior so that they are able to not cause too much trouble.

That interpretation has let to the slightly cringy "redpill/bluepill" internet culture that fails to understand the point that both choices are inherently meaningless.

Pornography is very rarely seen for more than just an opportunity for a viewing party to reach orgasm. Out of all pornography, it is basically impossible for every single person involved to have the same exact artist intent: masturbation aid.

So, my query is: what makes good pornography meaningful and thought provoking?

Despite being an adult, occasionally pornographic materials can negatively affect my mood, as ingrained taboos occasionally tear me out of the experience. There are many happy men and women who have overcome this, and seek to use the pornographic materials they create to elevate their artistic life somehow.
