I finally got a pink kink3d cage. I will say for a non-metal cage it is pretty comfortable. I’ve worn it about 24 hours now. I did notice that it was rubbing/pinching where the 2 oval “pegs” go into the base ring on either side of the lock. I took it off and saw that the edges are a little sharp for my liking. I took a dremel tool and very lightly rounded the corners where they touch my skin. I put it back on and it seems to have alleviated the problem but only time will tell.

I do wish the lock inserted from the right. Mine is on the left and I don’t remember seeing an option to choose. It makes removal and installation a little wonky. Not a huge gripe for me though, just a minor inconvenience.

Also not a huge deal but the cage and ring are slightly different colors. The cage has a slight purple tint to it. I assume they were made from 2 different filament rolls.

Overall it’s my favorite non-metal cage. $210 seems pretty steep to me. But they’re definitely better than anything on Amazon.

Anyway that’s my 24 hour review. I’m going to be in it the next 2-3 weeks so I’ll update later with more info. Thanks for listening to my TED talk.
