Drafting for talent vs. need
Post Body

One of the big questions for teams in sports drafts every year seems to be "Do we as a team draft the best player available? Or do we draft for need?". The decision is dependent on many things, including what talent a team already has, talent that's departing in free agency, how good that particular team is at the time, and how the franchise's front office evaluates the players in the draft. Some will say talent is talent, regardless of position. Others value depth in areas on the team that are decidedly lacking.

Opinions will undoubtedly vary, but I'd like to know what we Kings fans think on the subject. For this year's draft, should Vlade Divac and company go after the best player available or try and target positions of need?
