Having little/no concrete news about actual changes or improvements in the remake lead me to expect little/no actual change. I don't think that is necessarily terrible, but there is a lot of hype and speculation that masquerades as news and could lead to some significant backlash.

Basically, I think it's super weird that there hasn't been any solid information put out about the remake, and that will likely hurt them overall as hype inflates player expectation without solid info to ground them.
