I’ve beaten the main quest to the point where I have to ride with Capon to the trail that leads to a little camp east of Neuhof, the one with the chest full of nice things. Well I never asked to ride with him so he eventually just went off to go do his own thing, which meant going to the bathhouses and taverns. I was actually doing miller Peshek’s questline (Thick as Thieves) and I was sneaking around the Rattay bathhouse at night just looking for the ring I needed to a steal.

I went into a room that wasn’t near the objective area and low and behold there’s Capon getting a bath from one of the maids. So then I notice a chest to his left that’s already unlocked. I opened it and all of his armor and his personal key was in there, which apparently is a quest item? For what quest I don’t know but it said something about it being used to go into the Ratthaus cellar to taste their wine. I wore my stealthiest stuff and waited for the maid to walk away and swiped that shit and just booked it. No one even noticed lol.
