Holy hell, as a PS4 owner who bought this game in 2021 and tried at least 6 times to give it a go, I finally see what I've been missing. The forests, the towns filled with people, the no-nonsense way people act towards you because this isn't high fantasy, the clothing, the bathing, the things Hal will say and his stupid, sweet cherub face. It's fantastic.

I was heading to talk to the blacksmith in Sasau to learn his secrets when the combat sign popped up and I heard a man yell. He charged me with a torch in broad daylight and I assumed he was also running from whatever assailant lay waiting. We ran together till I turned to see if we were still being chased and the cursor hovered over him and it said "bandit" I killed him with my axe. Fantastic.

Upon entering a small town, a man ran by me followed by another man claiming he was a thief. I had a bad leg so I hobbled after them. The chase went on for almost 7 whole minutes in real time, just one guy running and the other hollering for help every 10 steps. Hilarious.

I took a bath, got my clothes laundered and then headed back to Skaklitz to see four people fighting. I stepped in to help and suddenly had 4 people kick my shit in so hard and I lost 25 minutes of progress. Lesson learned.

These wild colourful plants must must be decoration cause no button prompt comes up. I ignored so many flowers, mushrooms and weeds until discovering you practically have to stand on top of the item. Pay attention.

This is just phenomenal and I'm only level 5 but I'm so hooked in now. I'm going to be playing this for weeks, I can tell. If this sub had never popped up and if I hadn't seen all your passion for this game, I'd probably never touched it. Thank you all and Jesus Christ be praised!
