Is there a model that is "faster" than the others?

Hi fellow readers
I've been using the same Kindle for some 2 years now and I love it, the only think that bugs me is the delay there is going around, like when you go from Home to Library, try to search, etc.
So I'm wondering if other models are any faster or if the processor is pretty much the same, tried to search the web but found a mix of information.
