Should Kinda Funny do a town hall meeting about the Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft controversies, their relationships to those companies and what steps they will take in the future regarding coverage of releases when these companies fail to address these issues?

A similar thing has happened in the past with regards to certain people who used to be at IGN and part of the Kinda Funny community. Does this issue deserve the same sort of response from Kinda Funny in your opinion? What should Kinda Funny's role be when dealing with these issues? There was a smaller controversy with Insomniac as well, and we know that KF is pretty cozy with a few members of at least the Ubisoft team, not that individuals necessarily represent the whole company or the leadership in those companies that fail their employees.

Personally, I do think KF has a role in reporting the news at it happens and giving their takes on it, but I also think there needs to come a time where enough is enough. Activision Blizzard has a long, long way to go to restoring the faith of not only their customers but also their employees. What is our role as customers and as pundits in this?

Ubisoft just last year expressed a commitment to addressing these issues but all we've seen is some shuffling around of employees and it seems some of those responsible continue to have roles within the company. What should the role of Kinda Funny and their relationship with Ubisoft be going forward? And this isn't just a question to ask Kinda Funny but one to ask the entire games media. We know that the relationship between publishers, developers and the media in games can be a little more cozy than perhaps it should be, especially when you look at similar relationships, or the lack of, between the respective media and other creative industries. I want to hear from the Kinda Funny community one what they think regarding this.
