I want to start this with the context that we all know COVID is still a thing, many places are still observing quarantine restrictions though many have basically lifted them. I want to talk a bit about the content that KF has been putting out lately, and the various changes they've made to the line up. KF/AF is officially on hiatus now and Internet Explorerz has taken its place. I don't think it has to be said how much of a blow this is, in my opinion, to the content that has been going out. Most of the community would probably label KF/AF as one of their favorite shows in the line up. Internet Explorerz is fine, but it doesn't have much of the love that KF/AF does. Bits like the photoshop challenge, ask Andy anything and others get the community involved in the content that many other shows don't really do. The weekly line up right now seems to be In Review x2, Screencast, IEz and I guess WHCF. For me personally WHCF is a regular skip. In Review I love, but 2-3 a week is a bit too much for me. Screencast is best IMO when its more about the news of the week and "what are we watching" then focused on a single show, especially when its an episodic show. KF Games seems to be basically just KFGD, PSILY and Gamescast. It would be fun to see a shenanigans style show on a weekly basis on the Games side of thing. Speaking of shenanigans, to me thats one of the things the content has been missing lately. And I get that the world is a bit tough right now, but it really feels like we're missing the spontaneity and fun misadventures that Kinda Funny is known for, and with KFAF now gone for the foreseeable future there just doesn't seem to be a platform for that kinda content for them. I dunno. I'm curious what others are thinking.
