TL;DR: looking for a couple black/solid color kilts to help me stick it to the man

So a bit of back story: I work for a pharmacy at a big box store in Arizona. It’s a great gig, but it has a very strict dress code, main part to this story being we’re not allowed to wear shorts, and after 5 years I’m sick of being stuck with jeans/slacks when it’s 109 degrees outside. Thankfully the dress code allows for skirts, so I was thinking of buying a couple kilts to first help keep me cool during work, but also as a minor quiet protest of said code.

Outside of that though, I really don’t know what I’m looking for. I’m thinking something black or otherwise solid color. I don’t mind plaid, but we’re not allowed to wear plaid shirts so I want to avoid that argument. Wouldn’t mind something with pockets, but I’ll have gym shorts on underneath so it’s not a strict requirement. I’ve look at a few shops online but there’s quite a few so I’d love to here what some of the better ones are, thanks for reading and I appreciate the advice :)
