This may be a dumb question but can the stuff from octarius be used with stuff from into the dark?

I’m pretty new and getting an Octarius box soon and a few more kill teams so my friends and I have options. But I was wondering if kill teams from the new sets that take place in space hulks are usable on the old terrain style.
I know this may be a dumb question but I’m new and want to make sure I don’t buy anything I can’t use.
