How do you play KF2?

Want to try to get back into KF2 after the KF3 annoucement, my last time playing was basically 64 players or something servers, defending that TLOR castle, yk those servers where you go forever basically.
Now i want to know if I should stick to the normal matchmaking or community servers are the way to go

If I'm on console, which I mostly play on, there's only matchmaking. If I'm on any PC game, I prefer a server browser.
