Welp...we had to cancel today because my lungs are rattlin now. I was really hoping this cold wouldn't do that.

One thing I learned though is I have zero anxiety about it. I went in at 5:15 am, did the pre-op stuff, IV, put my wallet in a locker, and then the anesthesiologist came in at half hour before show time. Him and my surgeon said the risk wasn't worth it. I'm glad to wait for the ease and safety of my health. But dang, I had all my ducks in a nice row for recovery and pet care.

This new schedule won't be nearly as easy to put together. But it will be ok and I just have to wait a little bit longer to put this behind me.

I know someone else had surgery scheduled for today and if you're reading this at some point, I hope it went well and you're recovering as comfortably as you can.
