A friend just launched his Kickstarter. He's done a lot of cool Maker-related stuff with his Blubberbot autonomous blimp kits.

Its-a-bob is an attachment for a balloon that let's you "release" the balloon and then have it automatically reeled back in. It's got a clever low-power motor and clutch system inside to reel in the balloon. I've played with a few prototypes and they are a ton of fun.

I can only imagine how much fun kids would have with them.
