Kia warranty question. 2021 kia forte gt.

2021 kia forte gt, 30k miles, purchased new in 2022.

There is a metal pin in the drivers seat that is pushing out into the seam of the driver seat and it breaks the seams of the sewing.

So even if i paid for the seat to be sewn, the metal pin would tear the seams again as it is pushing into the sewing. I would 100% consider this a mechanical defect, even if it's fix it, it will happen again.

I called the dealership and they sent it up for warranty and never called back.

Would this be covered as it is a manufactory defect?
