So...took my car in for a free oil change today in WA state as I have many times before.
She had "trouble" finding my car in the system that I purchased new at this same dealership in 2022. After a few minutes she found me in the system and said that I have free oil changes till Jan 1st, 2025 and not lifetime oil changes.
Did this change, and how does it change if I already purchased life time oil changes already? I noticed the dealership has a new name of Rairdon instead of Jack whatever.
Last time they asked me if I wants the 30k service at 28k miles I said no, no biggie.
This time at 30k miles this chick says according to the warranty I have to do the 30k service or it goes against the warranty. I looked this up online and looks like complete bullsht.
After all this I am told that oil change is going to take two hours, even with an appointment. Not very happy with this whole thing.
SIX months back I called because the stitching on the bucket seat in the 2022 kia forte seat sewing has come undone because a metal pin is pushing through the seat back causing it to Rip, it only happens on this seat, no others, no metal pin sticking out.
Lady told me it's probably "wear and tear" but will get in touch with manufactory.
