Logitech K380 iPad problem/glitch

Having this problem using the Logitech K380 with my iPad Pro 11". I'm working on an article in Google Docs and every time I switch between apps to use a source the keyboard stops working in Docs! I have to save my edits and reopen the Doc again to get the keyboard to work and it's very annoying. It also sometimes doesn't work in other apps after I switch between Docs and another app too. Does anyone else have this problem? I really love this keyboard otherwise but this problem is starting to affect my workflow.
