Every morning when I turn on the Keurig, it goes through the water warm-up, then you press the small cup button to put it through its 'cleaning cycle', an 11 oz. clean out of water. Fine. (We learned the hard way, as the first couple times we had smaller cups there with a k-cup in it and had coffee overflowed everywhere)

So, this cleaning cycle is annoying because it seems to do it randomly, like I don't know if it's going to clean itself or brew the k-cup to the appropriate size as it should.

My rant- WTF would they make this a feature that can't be turned off somewhere. Can it be turned off?

My question-Nowhere in the instructions does it give a time or frequency of this cleaning cycle so that I can predict when its going to happen. It's really, really annoying.

Can anyone chime in on this?
