So this is my first go at keto. It hasnt been too bad, feeling lean and good. I have quite the sweet tooth, and this recipe caters to that.
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup of coconut oil
-Powdered Monk fruit sweetener (I personally eyeball it) you can use granulated as well. Which I will but it makes it grainy, which I am fine with. Whatever sweetener will work i am sure. I just dont like stevia and other sweeteners leave a funky after taste. Only my opinion.
-7tbsp of unsweetened coco powder
-A little salt
-And a few drops of orange extract.
Microwave oil until it is just warm enough that it is all melted. Stir in all dry ingredients, order doesnt matter IMO. Then had drops of extract. Mint would probably be good as well. Next Ill poor it into a circular non stick cake pan. And throw it immediately into the fridge, let it harden a little then toss into the freezer. Dont worry about it sticking. It will separate from the pan. Doesnt take long. I then just break it apart and put it into a freezer bag and will just grab a little piece here and there. This whole thing of chocolate comes out to be 7 net carbs. If you need to portion it out, id recommend getting a chocolate mold. Hope this helps.
