My past run in with ketamine, I did a 12 hour session. I've noticed benefits for my chronic pain and depression, however this past session was confusing, and has left me in a deep depression. I was 6 hours into dosing, when I had just a very confusing and disorienting state of mind come over me, which I've never had before. I would akin it to feeling mentally insane. It was scary, but I knew it would only last for as long as the drug was taking effect, so I calmed myself down and let it ride out. However days later, I now have a much more intense and hard to pinpoint depression going on, as well as tinnitus that's so loud I'm starting to get stressed out from it. It feels like I can't fully processed what happened or what caused the "bad trip" and am now in a sort of state of PTSD from it. Is this going to be a permanent blow to my mental and physical health? Should I never do ketamine again? Has anyone else experienced similar things, and did you improve with time away from the drug?
