I began using ketamine in January of this year. I have an app on my phone where I track my use to make sure I’m not overdoing it…and i over-did it. I know my situation isn’t as bad as some of the other posts on here, but I want advice on how I should go about this before I it gets any worse.
I started tracking my use in May. I snorted ketamine on 11 days out of that month. 16 days out of June I was off ketamine and the first 8 days of this month, I was doing ketamine consecutively. I tried to limit myself to 1g per month, but I think last month, I did around 1.5-2g in total.
My tolerance is now higher than all of my friends who also do ketamine and I’ve been having a hard time holding in my pee. I decided it was time to stop 2 weeks ago. The thing that I think contributes to me losing control of my use is the fact that ketamine is such a nice drug to do alone. I like to do most drugs socially, but ketamine makes me just wanna sit back and watch a movie that I’m not even going to pay attention to.
I plan to make sure I don’t take ketamine when I’m alone anymore, but first I need complete abstinence to heal up my bladder and lower my tolerance. Right now my goal is 30 days bc that’s the maximum amount of time that ketamine can be detected in your system, so I see it as sort of like a detox.
But it’s been 2 weeks and my bladder still feels like it has to explode every time I need to pee. How long does it take to see improvement? How long does it take to fully heal? And how long does it take for your tolerance to go back down?
