so i've been listening to CDs and tapes more lately because a friend gave me an old boombox, and i got some from the library the other day including björk's vulnicura which i hadn't heard before. i put it on while i was cleaning/doing chores, did a decent bump and immediately felt so euphoric and tuned into the music. the meandering rhymeless lyrics suddenly made a lot more sense and just felt like a conversation. after about half the album i felt overstimulated and had to pause it, but it was really nice while it lasted. i think it would be a good album to explore in a k-hole if i didn't have to get up early tomorrow.

(eta: using a physical media player on k is so much nicer than having to look at my harsh glowing screen to change the music, imo!)
