Needing some guidance from needle vets please!

So just a few questions as I'd like to get my harm reduction on point before first SUBQ attempt.

22micron wheel filters, every demonstration I've seen you have to use a luerlock barrel to draw through the filter. So is it advisable to just buy 22-25gauge needle tips for that barrel and use it that way?

Or is it better to use that filtering barrel as a sort of receptacle to hold doses, which can then be emptied out a mL at a time into a clean receptacle to then be drawn up in an insulin needle?

Lastly , can I reuse the filters if I sterilize and clean properly? Thank you.
