I think I may have gotten too tolerant to ketamine - I take the drug for its painkilling effects, as well as the dissociative properties and have found that I cannot k-hole anymore and depending on the dose, I instead go from some visual artifacts/ mild hallucinations to a state where I am doing all sorts of erratic activity without being aware of any of it. There seems to be no middle ground. I’ve come out of this state, and each time I have found that I have yanked my AirPods out of my ears, knocked items and drinks on the floor, and I have injured myself; sometimes I find bruises on my body, and recently I have ‘awoken’ to find nosebleeds and black eyes, with no clue as to how they got there. I should mention that this state doesn’t seem to last long - perhaps 5-10 minutes before I start to get faculties back. I thought my body was just going crazy during these moments when I take too high of a dose, but I have also experienced a time where I have unknowingly swapped one of my Apple Watch straps for another one, which takes some brain power and effort.
Has anyone else had this problem, does anyone have any advice?
Thanks 🙂
