Cross Tolerance between ket and codeine/dihydrocodeine??

I’m trying to use dihydrocodeine (AS PAIN RELIEF) and I’ve waited to mandatory two hours max for it to kick in and it’s barely touching the sides. Would my ket abuse cause a higher opiate tolerance??
