I'm in a market of buying used SUV, was into a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi, for around RM50k. Just recently I was having an offer from my friend selling a 2020 Hilux 2.8 Rogue edition, for RM80k, low mileage. I know the car well cause I used it a few times.

Now I'm stuck in a dilemma. Which should I get

I'm an engineer, sometimes I have to drive into some slight off-road condition to construction site.

I like to carry people around, hanging out with my in-laws..... I'm working in Ipoh, my in-laws is in KL, so I'll have to travel long distance twice a month.

I have sciatica pain issue, so a comfortable vehicle is highly preferred. And my height is 183, it is very hard for me to find a true comfortable car for me.

Should I get the SF ? For I love its comfort, fuel efficiency. But for a car that is 9years old, I can forsee wear & tears and some small problems that I have to work on it. And going to cost me a few thousands to make good.

Should I get the Hilux? Is it a comfortable for a people mover ? Is it economical to run ? Considering the road tax is way way higher than SF also
