Hey all! Hope your New Year is going well so far.
I've been recently interested in skincare and dove into the world of retinoids. As I dug deeper, I found out retinoids can help get rid of KP as well. I've been suffering from KP for years now, it's mostly on my upper arms but recently I've been seeing some emerge on my thighs and butt.
So I was wondering if anyone here has tried to add retinoids to their routine and if they had any kind of result? Also, I'm curious about the products and step-by-step application; would it be the same as if I'm putting it on my face?
If so, I'm planning on trying this out:
AM:
- Wash affected areas with Cerave SA cleanser
- Moisturize with Amlactin/SA cream
- Sunscreen
PM:
- Shower using exfoliating gloves and Cerave SA cleanser
- Moisturize with Amlactin/SA cream
- Wait for 20-30 minutes
- Apply retinol/retin-a
- Another thin layer of moisturizer/lotion (? not sure)
Please let me know if this routine works! Also, feel free to share your routine as well.
Thank you!
