29F, mine is sadly genetic. The only thing that seems to help Amlactin Daily Lotion, makes the bumps a little bit softer, does nothing for the redness.
My KP is all over my arms, calves and thighs, butt and face. I hate so many things about my appearance but my KP is the biggest contributor and always has been.
One girl told me I had little pimples in 5th grade and it's haunted me since. I want smooth, glowing, beautiful skin that doesn't look diseased.
If I could cut my skin off and get new skin, I would. There are so many 'this COULD be what's causing your KP but we're not sure' scenarios that it's so daunting to try to treat it, and I don't have good health insurance so I can't even start that journey.
I hate this condition. I hate it so much. My skin would be so beautiful if it didn't look so diseased.
