Mantra tips?

I'm fairly new to Karma, I've been spamming her out a bit here and there because I like her kit and the way she plays, but I've been struggling with which mantra to use when. Fairly straightforward, but sometimes I fall into the trap of just throwing mantra q or something and then oh snap we couldve used the aoe shield and stuff like that. But yeah how should I properly be managing my mantra?
