I have a Championship tomorrow or the day after (you know how it is). It's so cold where I'm at. I had both coffee and tea pretty late for me and now I'm so anxious and unable to fall asleep. It's like 12:30 where I'm at.
I rehersed Bassai Dai in front of my cousin and he pointed out that my breathing sounds unnatural. Maybe i went a bit fast because of the cold or maybe he was watching it from a pretty close distance but now I'm like genuinely anxious that it looks and sounds wrong. What if I mess up? The loud wooshing breath sound is something I adopted when I watched another performer but I'm really scared that it doesn't go and i'll screw up everything. I'm also participating in kumite and I already feel like I'm gonna screw up.
What do i do? Please gimme some advice. I feel like I shouldn't breathe loudly, but I've only ever learned higher katas this way. How do I stop?
