I've unexpectedly found myself involved in planning a small regional invitational competition. The athletic logistics are being handled by the dojo owner/sensei, but he's asked for ideas regarding venue, fundraising, and the overall experience for both athletes and spectators. My background is hospitality & culinary and I have connections to mobile chefs.
This isn't just food trucks or frozen pizzas. We're placing an emphasis on healthy options that provide sustained fuel for a long day as well as quick energy boosts.
My question is -- what would your ideal menu be for a comp day? We need options for athletes from child to adult, coaches, officials, families.
Thanks!
