Hey all. I’ve always loved karaoke. And have had a variety of low end machines from the wired mic with built-in song catalog and video/audio outs. Up to one of those multi disc changing component systems to good ole laser disc karaoke!

But I’d like a stand-alone portable unit for home parties. I don’t mind if it has disco lights and stuff. Those are always fun and distracting from my tone-dead singing.

My search is coming up with so many systems, my head is spinning.

My budget is say around $200-300, but can eek out more if there’s a screaming deal.
