This will be my first winter in Kansas City and I am worried about rust developing on my car, as I’ve seen so many rusty vehicles since I moved here. I understand that washing the car, particularly the undercarriage after snow/ice/salt is one of the key preventative measures.
Are there car washes that stay open even during the coldest parts of winter? Any between the plaza and Mission area?
What other steps do you all take to prevent rust on your cars from the salt?
