I am trying to figure out the Belton chicken ordinance but it seems pretty bogus especially since Belton always struck me as a farming town. If I am understanding this correctly you can only have 4 chickens per acre? I have found nothing about roosters and apparently "Chickens or ducklings younger than eight weeks of age may not be sold in quantities of less than 25 to a single purchaser." - it would be really hard to sell 25 chicks with only four chickens...
Anyone in Belton know if these rules apply outside of city limits? Are they pretty strict on these rules?
