I had planned to get a covid booster today. I am really hoping for Novavax because I have pretty extreme reactions to Moderna which I have now had 3x.

I used an online tool to find it, and it claimed(as does the CVS website) that you don't need an appointment, Novavax is available at all locations, just walk in. So I tried that over in PV today and was told they don't take walk ins and they got two vials of Novavax three months ago and none since.

Walgreens, also a no.

My primary care doctor, for whom I pay an exorbitant amount on monthly premiums to Access? DOESN'T EVEN OFFER ANY COVID VACCINES OF ANY KIND. I find this ridiculous. It's the fifth leading cause of death in the US and I can't go to my doctor and get a vaccine for it????

Anyway, now looking to social media for help. The timing is important - I have this week off and I was hoping to get it today so if it wrecks me tomorrow, I'm over it in time for Thanksgiving.
