I have owned a welding business here in Kansas City for 8-9yrs and I’m looking into making the jump into being MBE (Minority Owned Business) certified for the sake of elevating my scope of work and pursuing my plans of a string of welding shops in the Midwest.
I have called other business owners and spoke with them briefly and I have been told it’s a huge pain in the ass and dam near impossible for a reason as if the hoops are so hard because it about the money and that most minorities don’t have them means to go through the hoops.
Just curious if anyone has any experience or pointers?
