Thoughts on futures market?

So I have been playing kaisa and I take normal Hail of Blades runes and then secondary I go magical boots and futures market. I like futures market because I feel it helps complete my q Evo faster and also im bad at timing my backs with the amount of gold I have. Is this something i should stop doing? Has anyone tried this out? How detrimental is the 50 gold cost?
