How do I play her/get the most out of her kit?

So I bought her the other day and I’m loving her kit but I always do really low damage for an adc and I don’t know if it’s normal for Kai’sa or it’s just me being bad, I’ve tried the standard build on pro builds and I’ve tried the AD build on this page and I really prefer the AD build and it feels much better but clearly the other one must be better else pros wouldn’t go it every game so clearly I’m doing something wrong.

How do I play her and what should I be doing because to me she doesn’t feel like a bog standard ADC because of her mobility?
