Hi all,
Wondered if anyone else has seen an issue like this before. Curious if we just got a bad batch (at least for the motherboard issues).
I've been getting more calls lately on our seniors Dell 3100 2-in-1 Chromebooks lately, most of them just need to do a quick hard reset (hold down refresh button and press the power button, then release all buttons). I have also seen that some of the motherboards have died as well (most have a made in China date of early 2019).
I'm not sure if there is something I am missing that the kids are doing, a couple have been because of spills, but most are no visual damage (dropped or spills). Normally if I put it on a charger, and it has no lights, I will disconnect the battery and try again. If still no light, the board has been dead each time.
Thanks in advance.
