We have a customer (MSP here) that has an educational Office 365 Tenant. They have the 10 Office 365 A1 licenses given to them and the rest are Business Basic/Standard (around 200 licenses).
Going into SharePoint Online admin center - it shows that the tenant has 4.77PB in storage available! How is that possible and is it even real?! I found no documentation on this. SharePoint limits MS article says it should be 1TB 10GB x number of users. Even with full 200 licenses this tenant goes up to 3TB tops!
Anyone can explain this or has encountered this? Found this archived post here from this sub asking the same and getting no answer.
