Hundreds of new student accounts, no Azure Premium, no password writeback, in the middle of a lockdown. What's the easiest way to get the kids logged in?

Best way I can think of is bulk resetting to random passwords and then mail merging a bunch of emails. An easier alternative would be nice.

EDIT:
On premises AD, Windows Server 2016. Azure AD Connect syncing that up to O365. Students have AD accounts O365 accounts with everything synchronised, but they can't change their O365 passwords as we don't have the licensing. Information can be sent home to parents through other channels, that's not an issue.
