Did anybody else think that DC missed an obvious and easy opportunity to make General Luddendorff a well known character? Perhaps a JL villain that is immortal that could appear in future films, like oh I don't know, Vandal Savage?
I like that they based him on a real German soldier because it adds to that feeling of accuracy but the main bad guy of the film isn't a classic wonder woman villain. Yes, Ares is the "main antagonist" but he doesn't show up until the end, a majority of the film is them fighting Luddendorff. Why not make him someone with a little bit of history with the League and then let him come back for after their spat with Darkseid is over? Just sayin' it would be awesome to see Savage on the big screen.
