Going to be a resident in a different county, can I request disqualification from jury duty?

Iām graduating and have a job offer in a different county, so I will be living here for the forseeable future.
I will be finding a new place to live, but Iām not sure that matters; I live here now so I can go to school and I will need to live here for the foreseeable future for my job. Do you think I can just call in and ask to be disqualified?
