Teaching Children
Post Body

To make a long story short my Nephew joined a Judo Program at the local park. They asked the kids if they knew anybody who trained in judo, which I did many moons ago. So I started helping out the kids which leads me to my question. Which throws are good for kids to Learn. I found much success with Osoto Gari and Oouchi Gari, but no success when it comes to hip throws. They seem almost scared to go for them. The main instructor is a JiuJitsu guy and is just learning judo himself and they have learn a lot of JiuJitsu but it is a Judo program so I'm trying to fill in the gaps for them by teaching Tachi-waza.
