I randomly saw this tweet about the singles with the most weeks on Oricon and it really gave me a trip down memory lane considering that the top song was SMAP’s Sekai Ni Hitotsu Dake No Hana. I haven’t been that actively listening to Jpop these days but I am familiar with some of the songs (King&Prince’s Cinderella Girl, Hitoto Yo’s Hanamizuki and Kenshi Yonezu’s Lemon) but I just felt that SMAP topping that list is very well deserved. That song was really good and the message it conveys is something that we should always remember. I suggest checking it out if you still haven’t!
