It's moving from being a live site to living on an intranet address so some folks here can go through the content and see if there's anything they want to save or add back to the new site that we missed while building the new site. But I can't get it to come up because of this dang www bs.

Messing with my .htconfig file has NOT helped, nor has adding a function redirectURLNoWWW() {. . .etc to index.php. Nor has changing the value of $live_site. Nor has turning off my SEO settings.

Contrary to everything google has served me up about .htaccess files, the other intranet resources hosted on this server don't do this, and the behavior continues even if I delete the .htaccess file entirely. What gives?

Any ideas? I'm I missing something really really embarrassingly basic?
