(How much are you paying or getting paid for house cleaning?)

Hi guys, I'm a varsity student. So last year because of the NSFAS direct payment I was one of the students who wasn't receiving their allowance and that went on for months, so I had to find another source of income.

Long story short, I got the job (as a cleaner) that pays R200 daily (i come in 2 times a month) and i was desperate at the time so I took it plus the house owner said he was unemployed also so that's all he could do.

So I do everything from dishes, toilet, changing bed sheets and washing them, laundry, sweep and mop all the rooms, it's a 2 bed room house. This job is a lot and it's tiring, at 1st I didn't mind my salary...but the work just keeps piling up more laundry, mouldy dishes 😑

I feel like I'm not getting paid enough, so I wanna know from other people who are doing the same work how much they get and from the employers how much they are comfortable with paying.
